The history of birth control and periods goes back as long as there have been human beings. And yet, the subject remains taboo in so many cultures - why do we sweep periods under the rug when half the population gets them or has gotten them monthly? We talk about the history behind different birth controls methods, natural remedies for periods, and our own stories passed down through the women in our families and their experiences in India.
