This week, SWANA collective members Nyma Ardalan and Hamoud Salhi focus on the Nagorno-Karabakh war and its repercussions in the region. They discuss the alliances in this conflict, such as India’s support of Armenia, and Pakistan's and Israel's support of Azerbaijan and aiding and siding with Turkey. They are joined by guest Mihran Toumajan, Western Region Director of Armenian Assembly of America. Founded in 1972 and headquartered in Washington, DC, the Armenian Assembly of America is the largest, non-partisan Armenian American advocacy organization in the United States. Since its establishment, the Armenian Assembly of America endeavors to promote public awareness of Armenian issues, encourage greater Armenian American participation in the American democratic process, and assist in humanitarian and development programs in Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh (Republic of  Artsakh), while strengthening the U.S.-Armenia and U.S.-Nagorno-Karabakh relationships.
