Hey guys! This week we are thinking about women and their bodies, what does it mean to be a woman in our society and what is it like to be one. I talk a lot about my own personal experience this time around, but don't worry, I also include a lot of learning I've taken apart in (especially focusing on minority women). I include some of my own personal poetry and some hot takes on women today and historically in our society. Sources: Sappho's Fragments, Jezeabel Unhinged by Tamura A. Lomax and Healing, Violence, and Native American Women by Renya Ramirez. Correction: Trans or genderfluid Native Americans are considered Two Spirit, generally, but it depends on the person and the tribe.
