Last week the nation honored Juneteenth by making it a national holiday. In most cases, it was celebrated as intended with parades and festivals. However, there were some instances where reprehensible acts were done in its honor. When I learned how some African Americans brought in the Juneteenth holiday, I was embarrassed for them. It made me wonder if Black America would ever hold itself accountable for its self-inflicted wounds. In this episode, accountability is the word of the day.
