It's been a while (apologies) but we're back! Series 2 is here and to start things off we've got a true legend of the game. This gentleman has a World Golf Hall of Fame career but even he will be the first to admit it's got nothing to do with his ability to swing a golf club. However, he is in the WGHOF for establishing, growing and cementing what the golfing world now knows as the European Tour. Ken Schofield ran Europes biggest golf tour from 1975-2004 and increased the number of events played in a calendar year from 17 to 45 across the globe. His dedication to the tour provided European and International players a true stage to show off their golfing talents. Through sponsorship deals and agreements the prize funds rose from the tens of thousands into millions of euros, finally allowing professional golfers on this side of the Atlantic to play golf for a living without needing a side profession. Not only did this gentleman transform the stage of golf in Europe, he did it in the only way Ken knows in a humble and gracious fashion.
