Acharya S. The Mythicist Position on religious origins

Most everybody will be familiar with Acharya S. and her controversial work.  The Mythicist Position has been featured in her works and in the Internet hit film "Zeitgeist".  Basically she argues that religions, including Christianity started on the basis of myths.  In other words Jesus is a mythological character just like Zeus or Apollo (or Muhammed for that matter).  The "Zeitgeist" movie has been criticized along with the works of Acharya S (D.M. Murdock) by many groups Christian, Muslim, and other sects as well.  While at the same time garnering praise from academics and others.
