When I was preparing to take my board exam back in 2018, there were only a few resources recommended to us to use for studying. When I went to CSM in 2022, there must have been 10+ companies for NPTE prep. I wanted to start sharing these companies as potential resources for those studying for the NPTE. Hopefully, you will find one that works for you.
NPTE Final Frontier was started by Dr. Bhupinder Singh, PT, PhD in 2015. NPTE Final Frontier offers NPTE-PTA preparation over an 8-week period. During this period of time, students will be offered lectures taught by Dr. Singh, work with a team of licensed PTAs, 100% online NPTE-PTA preparation material, 50+ daily readings, 25+ video recordings, a 200 question practice exam, a 50 question mini exam, and 12 months access to all of your study material. For students who may require additional assistance, NPTE Final Frontier offers Advanced Licensed Partner Services (ALPS) as a one-on-one tutoring service and Licensed Study Partner (LSP) as a small group tutoring service. You are never alone in Final Frontier, so please reach out if you have any questions.

Today we will speaking to Ashley Gess, PTA and Megan Duncan, DPT from NPTE Final Frontier.
As a mid-career entrant to the PTA profession, Ashley Gess leverages a diverse vocational background to make an impact on patients and students alike. Ashley performs her PTA duties at a skilled nursing facility by day, while also mentoring rising PTA students through direct tutoring and curriculum development with NPTE Final Frontier at night. When taking a break from her rewarding career Ashley, a two-time cancer thriver before 40, enjoys running dogs for exercise, getting on the water to stand-up paddle, and adventuring to new places at home and abroad.
Meagan Duncan, DPT, is a Chicago native, where she first became a PTA. She built a pro bono program in her home town of Joliet, IL at her first job, then moved on to become a DPT. She moved to Las Vegas, attended University of Nevada Las Vegas to earn her DPT, and specialized in Pelvic Floor PT in her final year. She began a now thriving pelvic floor program at her current clinic and works full time as an orthopedic and pelvic floor therapist. As a Covid Graduate (May 2020), she used Final Frontier to guide her studying and managing the tribulations of the times and has become passionate about working with and students and being a part of the support system that got her through 2020. She is a new mom and able to balance life with the support of a loving full time stay-at-home husband.
