On July 13th, 2020 the Colorado Springs city council work meeting was held. During the meeting, a city ordinance was suggested that would mandate mask-wearing when out in public. Fines and jail time were potential repercussions of violating the ordinance. 

Thankfully, council completely pulled the ordinance - it was dead on arrival before a vote was necessary.
