I made a commitment to become anti racist and do a yay show every day for 30 days (the yay show part is 30 days, the anti-racist will be for the rest of my life). It’s day 3 and The NY Times filled me with perspectives of black men and women last night. It’s painful. And real. And awkward. And interesting. And uncomfortable. And so much more. So human. Pro human. And Covid-19 is still ravaging (re ravaging) the world. Which isn’t very pro-human, especially governmental myopia and so-called “economic” interests superseding human life. Not to mention propaganda of fascists against anti-fascists like you and me. And still there’s joy in connection and humanity. And gratitude abounds. And we all crave a sense of agency and dignity.
