It was released by <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RCA_Records" title="RCA Records">RCA Records</a> on September 18, 2020. Written and produced largely by Alicia Keys, the album also features songwriting and production contributions from <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swizz_Beatz" title="Swizz Beatz">Swizz Beatz</a>, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ludwig_G%C3%B6ransson" title="Ludwig Göransson">Ludwig Göransson</a>, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rob_Knox_(producer)" title="Rob Knox (producer)">Rob Knox</a>, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_McDaid" title="Johnny McDaid">Johnny McDaid</a>, and <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The-Dream" title="The-Dream">The-Dream</a>, among others.
