Alongside stage managing, Michael spent time as an adjunct professor, teaching stage management at California State University, Fullerton and Pomona College. For his work in film and television, Josh wrote an animated musical feature for Mattel, and was staffed on the Emmy-nominated PEN15 (Hulu). His PEN15 episode, “Sleepover,” was named one of “30 Best TV Episodes of 2020” by Entertainment Weekly, and the season was nominated for Best Comedy Series by the Writers Guild of America and the Critic’s Choice Awards.
