Since Covid hit, I've moved from ecobee over to Shopify as part of my return to the Ottawa area where I grew up. In this podcast I interview a very longtime friend of mine, Pat Woodcock on his career as a professional athlete and trainer, and we talk parallels between our lives and what it was like being part of a Championship winning sports team. We use the analogy alot here at Shopify that we're a team that wants to win championships and how we need to create that mindset and find people who can help us win, so I thought it would be great to see what we all could learn from someone who has won ACTUAL CHAMPIONSHIPS with professional sports teams.

After that I delve into an idea stolen from developing as an illustrator called "Mileage" and why that concept is so important to developing Product Professionals. Great to be back with a new episode.
