After a couple failed attempts I finally got a podcast uploaded with Nick Wilder and Ryan Davie. What a blast it was to sit down with these guys and shoot the sh*t. I finally got the chance to sit down with my friend Chris Villa. After a crap load of technical difficulties, we got everything running and had one of my favorite interviews. We talked about Chris' younger days growing up in Philly, playing youth sports, skateboarding, and his introduction to disc golf. We also got into his epic performance at the Master's Pro Worlds this past season. I had an awesome time talking with Chris, hanging out and eventually even watching some Sixers basketball. We often say that some of the best people are disc golfers, and Jay Gobrecht fully embodies that statement. I had the pleasure of staying at his house this past week and getting to know him more than I could have ever imagined. Jay told me he would do this interview but I had to come stay the night just so I could wake up and fully experience what its like to be in his disc golf paradise. He wasn't lying about this being paradise, and I couldn't just stay one night, I actually stayed 2. Jay has lived a lot of life, been to 16 World Championships, designed numerous courses, played on the lead card in world finals and also been skilled enough to win 2 Doubles World Championships!! We kept it short and sweet for your holiday listening pleasure! Words can't describe how much I enjoyed talking with Jay, and I hope you all enjoy it too. 

This week I had the pleasure of interviewing Bobby Boom Boom! He welcomed me into his home and onto his course. After a fun filled 9 holes we made our way inside to sit down and talk a little. We talk about how he got into disc golf, his music career and much more. I had an awesome time talking with Bobby, and I hope you all enjoy listening!!

After a little trip up to the Warwick area, we are back in the LV! This week I had the pleasure of talking to my favorite disc golfing lefty, Robin Billig. We got right into it with this one, we talked about Robin's beginnings in disc golf, his ultimate days, and the early days of Jordan Creek DGC. I've been lucky enough to know Robin for all these years but really haven't had the chance to sit down and talk with him, so this was an absolute pleasure for me to do. About a month ago I travelled up to NY and sat down to talk with Steve Brinster. After some coffee and french toast we headed out to Steve's course to have a little talk. It was a beautiful, breezy, early fall day. We talked about his early days of golf, course design, juggling a disc golf career with family and owning a business and we talked about his 2013 USDGC win. I had grand plans for this podcast, was gonna interview a bunch of the locals to get there opinions on Steve's success, his NJ Disc Golf Hall of Fame induction, and his all around impact on the local scene, but unfortunately that all didn't come to fruition. Oh well, I guess I'll have to interview him again in the future to get all that. Big thanks to those who took time to talk with me this past weekend at the HOF induction (sorry Dan, battery died while talking to you). I enjoyed this whole experience and I hope you all enjoy this podcast. 

I asked Mo to do the podcast a couple weeks ago and was stoked that it was finally gonna happen this past weekend. On Friday night the unexpected happened, Mo messaged me and asked if Scoward could join, and if it was possible to do on a boat!!??! I told her "absolutely!!" All that set into motion the most fun I've had interviewing anyone yet! We talked about how Mo got into the sport, her recent victory and how she and Scoward met. All the while Scoward throws in additional tidbits and captains the boat. We also talked about the local scene, how tight nit it is and how a very important course may possibly be in danger of being replaced by a boat launch. We laugh, we sing, we drink and we have an EPIC podcast for you all to hear!!!! I hope you all enjoy!!!

This past week I was lucky enough to meet James Conrad. After talking to him for all of a minute I knew he was exactly the type of person I want to join me on the podcast. I asked him to do it, and he "Yea sure, without a doubt". At that moment I knew I had to step my game up! I had interviewed some amazing people, some of them being unbelievable golfers, but the running theme of my guest is that they are all amazing people, and James fit the bill perfectly. We talked about his beginnings in disc golf, going on tour, winning the World Championships, and THE SHOT! I still don't really believe that the podcast has gotten to this point, but I'm gonna roll with it!! I enjoyed this conversation very much, and hope to maybe do a James Conrad part 2 the next time I see him. This past Friday I had the pleasure of interviewing Mike Beshore. Mike is originally a Pennsylvanian, but has managed to migrate out west to Oregon. He is heavily involved in his local club and community. We talked for what seemed like forever but still almost wasn't enough time. All bases we covered, we talked about his youth, growing up in a big family, his early disc golf days, and what he is currently doing to grow the sport. I had a great time with him and his family and really hope you enjoy!

I hadn't talked to Mike or Dan since our podcasts together so catching up yesterday was long overdue. They tell me about tour life, the level of competition, the difficulty of the courses, and their expectations at The World Championships. I missed talking to these guys, but it was great to hear that they are doing well on tour. This interview was done over Zoom so I have video for it too, that will be out soon. With it being over Zoom we were at the mercy of the WiFi signal at the resort that Dan and Mike are staying at, thank you for being patient with the choppy and dropped audio. I hope you all enjoy!!
