I really appreciate Joe and Shayla's perspectives on film and TV. Too many podcasts just give you a white perspective. Here you got a Black American and Aurstrailian Jew. They are intelligent funny and seem like a good couple to hang with which is the best you can hope for with a podcast.

I’m so glad I found this show! Every episode teaches me more about the Watchmen in such an entertaining way. These guys not only are funny but super knowledgeable about the backstory and have great theories and ideas about the TV show.

Great recap of the comics. Helps set up what may happen in the new show. Both hosts are very knowledgeable of the material.

A captivating and easy to follow pod that prepares you for, and breaks down the ‘New Testament’ of Watchmen (ie the HBO series). The hosts provide a nice balance of comic fact, humor, and anecdotal insight!

Sounds like Black Soul and La Boom have done their homework and provide a lot of insight I haven’t heard from other Watchmen podcasts.
