Episode 15: Marketing vs Sales - Is it really a difference of Introvert vs Extrovert?
Hey everyone, thanks for checking out this week's episode of the Walk'n'talk podcast. Today we just talk a bit about the differences between marketing and sales. Marketing is how we deliver our brand message to the world, Sales is how we convert potential customers into paying clients. These two worlds are so different, yet so similar. Their end goals are about growing the business, but how they achieve that goal is vastly different. We also dive into whether this difference could be chalked up to whether it is an introvert's specialty or an extrovert's specialty. The stereotypical notion of a salesperson is pushy, masculine, & social - More extroverted. However, Marketing could also be an extrovert's game, since it is about social skills and persuading people through emotional means. But with marketing, there is more deliberation and behind the scenes work that goes on before any action is taken. So this would imply it to be more of an introvert's game. So this is the dichotomous nature of the two, and we just share our thoughts and experiences on the subject. This was inspiried by a Tim Conley Youtube video where he described himself as an introvert, but we never saw him that way. Episode 14: Our Experience Running A Digital Marketing Agency (SO FAR)!!
What can you learn from our experience as a digital marketing agency in 2021. This business started in January and we have grown it to a profitable business that allows us to be content creators! We get paid to be creative, it is honestly the best feeling ever. However, it comes with it's challenges, which we go through in detail in this podcast. However, do not let the hard times stop you from starting! When we started we only had our iPhones and a Gimbal. That was enough to land our first client, and once we were able to show our value we gained more clients. This allowed us to net $10k in our first Quarter. This is not a lot of money between us but it surely is inspiring and goes to show that getting started is the hardest part.  Now we have some fancy equipment that allows us to create even better content. So hopefully we can teach you about our mindset, what has happened this past 6 months and what you can do to hopefully get started in your entrepreneurial journey. Enjoy :) Recorded and Filmed on a Canon Rebel EOS SL2 + Rode Video Lav Mics --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

Episode 13: Why Mistakes Are Important For Growth
Hey everyone, Thanks for tuning in to another episode! Today we go over why paying attention to your mistakes, is a much more valuable way to grow than focusing on what you did well. Mistakes are tough to look at, it makes us feel bad and can be discouraging. But that's not what they are there for. Mistakes exist so that you can learn from them! Do you think a chess master learns from the games he wins? Maybe, but not as much as the games he loses. Because it is the mistakes that highlight weaknesses that need to be addressed. So take that into consideration! Don't be fearful, instead face your mistakes head-on and grow from them! Thank you guys & see you in the next episode. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

Episode 12: Quarter 1 Progress Report & Perservering
Hey everyone, On this week's episode we go into perservering, and how sticking with something, even when it is hard can be the most rewarding action you can take. It's already the end of Quarter 1 of 2021, and what steps have you taken towards your goals since the beginning of the year? We always strive for certain goals but many people fail to perservere. It's about taking things one day at a time, and making consistent progress, rather than over exerting effort and stopping early. We also take a deep dive into how we have progressed thus far this year. We started our digital marketting agency in January, and now have a few clients under our belt! There is a ton of room for progress, but I am so happy with what we have accomplished, so we share on that journey as well. Thank you so much for your continued support and we hope you have a wonderful day! Episode 11: Lady Gaga's Oreos, Dogs & What Is Clubhouse?
Hello everyone! Thanks for joining us for another episode of the Walk'n'Talk Podcast. On today's episode we talk about Lady Gaga's limited edition Oreos, which have officially hit shelves across the United States. We were unable to get them at any stores but we bought some online. Mateo has already given them a try, apparently they taste like the vanilla oreos with cake creme filling. I'm excited to try them soon, by the time you read this I may have made the Lady Gaga Oreo Shake so keep your eyes open for that. That's not the only headline Lady Gaga is featured in this week because 2 of her 3 French Bulldogs were kidnapped earlier in the week. The two assailants shot Lady Gaga's dog walker and ran off with only the 2 dogs. They were unable to be apprehended, but good news, the dogs have been returned by a woman. Seems suspicious, but she claims not to be associated with the robbery, and got paid $500,000! Yes, half a million dollar reward for the return of the dogs. Lastly, we discuss the hot new social media platform, Clubhouse. It is an audio-only platform that acts like a conference hall. You can enter certain rooms, which have different speakers and different interactions with the audience members in them. It can be a really fun app to use, especially for networking, learning, and getting in touch with people you might not normally get access to! We hope you enjoy this episode and appreciate the support you guys have given. Ciao! Episode 10: The Darkside of Fame & Reactions to "Framing Britney" Documentary
Hey everyone, Thanks for coming back to check another episode. This one is a doosey (is that a word?). We talk about the negatives that come with being famous. For the average person, achieving fame seems like a dream come true. You get recognition, admiration, and money. But we also have to remember there is a lot of BS that comes with it. For starters, paparazzi. Having those guys constantly stalking you, trying to provoke you, and flashing your face with camera lights, can be a lot to handle. Not to mention now the lack of privacy that can come with the territory. This was all inspired by the recent New York Times Documentary Piece on Britney Spears called "Framing Britney" So we also delve into that and what our thoughts were on the subject. We appreciate having you guys here, thank you for giving us a listen and sharing it with others. If you don't mind leaving a review that always helps us out! So enjoy your day and we will catch you on the next one :) Recorded on an iPhone 12 Pro Max & iPhone 11 --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
