Sad loss
It is not the rule of life that you get to hear sensible creative people break down television. I changed my opinions and found new favorite shows from hearing them talk. It was truely wonderful to hear people breaking media down along gender class and race lines. Someday these things will not need to be pointed out, but how they did it and who they did extended interviews with was inspiring. That is feminism in action than k you

I loved this show. I'm really sorry they weren't able to keep going. If there's anything to be done about getting it back I hope they'll let us know.

Can't get to the content
One of the female host has a terrible case of vocal frei, which makes the whole podcast unlistenable.

Say it ain't so
The best tv podcast out there...cancelled?!! Hard to understand why they'd want to get rid of the only Vulture content I consume but whatever. RIP VTvP, you will be missed!

Absolutely Excellent
The discussion of the Big Little Lies finale was by far the very best! Matt Zoeler Seitz' comments were so insightful & erudite. I look forward to this weekly podcast so much and it has prompted me to seek out and enjoy the Vulture website and the hosts' tv criticism on other media platforms. Thank you VTP!!

Keep Matt, retool the rest!
I enjoy the content/topics of the Podcast. However, I only find Matt listenable. The women are annoying, especially Jen Chaney. Please fix this with new hosts.

Thumbs up Gazelle and Matt!
Show has been really good lately with just Gazelle and Matt helming it. Matt is one of the best industry interviewers. I will never forget his interview with Ava DuVernay where she was caught off guard and actually made GIDDY to have an interviewer fill an interview with questions about HER CRAFT! I think he made her day.

Unbalanced
I only listen to episodes that are about shows that I watch. In the beginning, I found Margaret really annoying, but I think she was ultimately a good presence because she challenged Matt's opinions. Matt is smart and articulate but he very much sticks to his white man point of view, and it's both boring and grating. Now that Margaret is gone, it's pretty much the Matt show because the other panelists never disagree with him. This show also needs regular segments, and the hosts need to stick to some sort of plan. Most of the time they just talk and talk until everyone ends up agreeing with Matt's boring blah blah blah.

Too much
Panoply has continued to raise the bar with their catalog's thoughtfulness, articulate hosts, guests, and A+ production value. I can't think of another TV podcast that meets the high standards that Vulture reaches for and often achieves in each episode. So it will be difficult to replace the Vuture TV Podcast in my subscription feed, but I'm afraid I'll have to. It has just become completely unlistenable for a single reason: Matt Zoller Seitz. Mr. Seitz is constantly interrupting his co-hosts or interjecting his opinions and anecdotes where they don't belong. This discussion of The OA on 1/9/17 was the last straw. I'm not sure what confounds me more, Matt's domanance or his female co-hosts' patience.

Margaret is sorely missed
Why are there so many awk pauses and uncomfy laughs since Margaret left? :( maybe more editing is the answer? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ still a big fan of matt, but man oh man... sometimes this can be a really tough listen. Woof.

This is a good podcast that I enjoy but it's almost unlistenable because of the varying volumes. Any clip from tv is so muted and one person from the cast is so loud. It's impossible to listen without changing the volume a million times.

Return Margaret
Without her, I've stopped listening. Unsubscribed today. Luckily Chris Ryan and Andy Greenwald are still around to provide smart tv analysis over at The Watch.

Great podcast
Love this podcast, I miss Margaret but so far Jen has proven to be a worthy successor. The three hosts are always talking about current shows, and also television in general which for me is what elevates it to a must listen. They talk about a wide variety of television and always have such great thoughts and observations that may not have occured to me. Keep up the good work

This Podcast Made Me Love Podcasts
I credit the Vulture TV Podcast with turning me onto podcasts in general and getting me hooked. Their lively and intelligent dissection of today’s TV, both good and bad, is insightful and thought-provoking and I truly look forward to every Tuesday’s release!

Mostly great
Love most of the commentary & analysis. Hate some of the audio! Is Angelica calling in on a cellphone under water? Come into the studio!

My Only Complaint Is That the Show is Weekly, Not Hourly
I watch more TV than anyone I know (about 100 shows per year), so a podcast like this is essential for me. Remarkably, though, there are some episodes that actually do not cover any shows that I watch. Fortunately, I like discussions about both shows that I do watch and shows that I don’t. In fact, the interview with Joel Fields and Joe Weisberg is probably my favorite episode thus far, even though I haven’t been watching The Americans since season 2. It would be just grand if episodes could be longer or more frequent. There are huge chunks of the TV landscape that Matt and Gazelle (and dearly departed Margaret) have not featured that I would love to hear their thoughts on, e.g. Adult Swim, alternative sketch comedy, classic Nickelodeon shows… the list could go on forever!

Good show
I like this show. At the beginning of the show every week they saw that the show notes will have times listed for segments that contain spoilers but the times have not been in the show notes for many weeks!

too late 😢
If I had left this 5 star review earlier, Margaret Lyons, perhaps you wouldn't be leaving. I never leave comments or ratings, but I guess I had assumed you'd always be there. I'm genuinely sad you're going away and the podcast won't be the same without you.

LOVE this podcast
Honestly, this is consistently my favorite podcast. All three of these people just have the best insights into my favorite shows, they convince me to watch new shows (and they’re always excellent), and they’re straight up hilarious. Love it.

Good, but could be better
This is a pretty good podcast about TV. They pick great topics to discuss and I really like all the hosts. However, I feel they would be better if they were less negative. If someone doesn't like a show, state why you don't like it and move on. There's no need to spend half the episode hating on a show. If a show is really bad it doesn't deserve that much of your time.

Just found this and love it
I am a TV podcast junkie and Vulture TV podcast does a great job of covering many interesting topics. A must listen for TV lovers…

Look forward to it
I enjoy this podcast and look forward to it every week. I think it's great to have these different voices sharing their opinions and discussing tv in an informative, intelligent and entertaining way. As with everything there's room for improvement but I think you guys are doing a bang up job so far.

Not good enough to make up for its annoyances
The panelists on this podcast are actually okay, but there are some major problems with the format. First, they do an ad about every 9 minutes, like a TV show. I’ve listened to many podcasts, and typically, there’s an ad at the beginning, then maybe another one later on. This podcast goes on for a few minutes, then: Time for another ad! It’s really distracting. I understand you want to make a little money for your time, but do what others do, don’t try to shoehorn in more ads. The second problem I had is a little weird: I’m pretty sure it’s sped up. It definitely wasn’t my iPod. At first I thought it was just one woman who talked fast, but I actually think it’s everyone. Very annoying. I generally don’t agree with the shows they liked, but I found them a fairly intelligent and funny group. But this didn’t outweigh the frequent ads, so I won’t be listening to any more.

Vulture TV Podcast
I've fallen in love with Matt, Gazelle & Margaret on VULTURE TV PODCAST. I just had to take a long drive, and you guys made the ride fly by. Suddenly I feel guilty for finding Mad Men incessantly boring after three seasons. I'm going to have to go back and binge the rest. I was wondering if there was a reason you don't mention the actors's names. I actually think it's refreshing, and I'm assuming that you are acknowledging the intelligence of your audience. I'd love to hear you speak about Jason Katims. With "Friday Night Lights" and "Parenthood," he has mastered the art of creating a show with multiple story lines running concurrently. A discussion of the "Graduating Class" of FNL could fill a whole Podcast. Keep up the great work.

Good Content / Annoying Delivery
Intelligent discussions, informed commentary. But there is an issue that makes it hard to listen to: one of the women on the podcast inserts the word “Right” (or “Right?”) into almost every sentence. I wish the producer had noticed this - seems like broadcast 101. I sincerely hope this will be remedied.
spock2012
so far so great!
Smart, funny, insightful. And I don't even just mean Matt Zoller Seitz. All in all a really good crew and a great podcast. I just wish it had been around earlier and they were able to discuss more than just the last few episodes of Mad Men!

Love it
I could listen to you guys talk about Mad Men every week and I’ll be sad when it’s over! But love the commentary on all other shows as well.

Could be so much better
I'm a big fan of the website but I am finding the podcast really hard to enjoy mainly because of Margaret Lyons' incessant commentary. Not that she doesn't have insightful things to say, but she monopolizes the discussion, sometimes talking over the other two hosts when they try to talk. Every time another host makes a point, Margaret Lyons jumps in with a patronizing "of course" and "right" instead of just listening and letting her colleagues have the floor. Also, she talks so fast (so that she can't be interrupted) that it's hard to follow her at times. I feel like I am in on an undergraduate seminar with THAT annoying, sophomoric student. The moderator needs to do a better job of giving everyone equal time.

Vulture
I listen to a lot of podcasts (40+) so it took me a couple of episodes to realize that you spend a lot of time talking about Mad Men and Game of Thrones... neither of which I watch so I've been fast forwarding through your episodes to get to the rest of the show towards the end. Well that defeats the purpose doesn't it?

Interesting but Repetitive
I love listening to people talk about TV and when the hosts talk about something I've watched or am interested in, I genuinely like or at least am interested in what they have to say. But they talk about the same topic every week: Mad Men. I don't watch it and feel that they won't have much interest once the show is over. I wish they would talk about all the other great TV that's out there.

Maybe with a little fine tuning . . .
I've been reading Matt Zoller Seitz's work since he wrote for the Newark Star Ledger; he's really an excellent critic and writer. Unfortunately, one of the women on this podcast (I'm not sure which one) talks way too much and crowds out Seitz and the other woman. Their recent Game of Thrones conversation would have been more interesting and more insightful, I'm sure, if all three had had the opportunity to express themselves. I believe the show will get better when she makes a little more room for her co-hosts, and stops saying "like" every third word.

Great show
These hosts are great TV critics. I've been following all of there work on Vulture for years now, Matt even longer, so it's great to hear these people talk about great TV.
