This podcast is dedicated to Eve Cleary, who died from thrombosis at the age of just 21. In this episode, I am joined by her mother Melanie Sheehan-Cleary, who tells me about Eve, and the events that led up to her death in July 2019. I am also joined by Anne Marie O'Neill who is the Patient Founder of Thrombosis Ireland who shares the risks, signs and symptoms of a blood clot. 1 in 4 people die from causes related to thrombosis, and people in a risk category are urged to advocate for a Venous Thromboembolism (VTE) Risk Assessment.
