As part of my coverage of Austin Film Festival's 26th year, I spoke with the makers of the new documentary, 'The Animal People', which details the astonishing true story of a handful of young people who found themselves imprisoned over a case with dire first amendment ramifications for us all. I talk with co-director Casey Suchan, editor and producer Sasha Perry, and activist Jake Conroy.
