Welcome to a personal favorite hyper-fixation of ours: cults. Lucky for you, we wrangled a cult/pop culture aficionado to add to our mania: our friend Hailie Durrett, to dissect the documentary Love Has Won.

Let’s back up to set the scene for the tea spillage—- 

Love Has Won: the Cult of Mother God (also known as the Galactic Federation of Light and 5D Full Disclosure) is a 3 part documentary series on HBO about a woman named Amy Carlson. Our girl Amy is a mother of 3 who is a manager of a McDonalds in Houston,Texas. One day she up and disappears, changes her name, and begins leading thousands of people under the self proclamation of being a divine being (who is 19 billion years old) who birthed the entire world. Well, folks, after watching, we clearly have thoughts.
