I agree with those that say this is the best Spanish learning podcast out there. The stories are interesting, the prompts are useful- his approach is very conducive to learning and improving.

This is best podcast for people who study Spanish. I love his method and his sense of humor. I enjoy listening his stories and even retelling them to my husband because they are very funny.

This is one of the best (if not the best) podcasts for those who want to learn Spanish. Each week Oscar finds a new interesting and very often very entertaining story. After telling us a story Oscar delivers a part where one can learn grammar without actually learning rules of grammar. I like the most when that part consists of questions and answers. So the listener of the podcast not only listens but also speaks Spanish trying to answer the questions. I don’t know any other podcast which makes learning Spanish so effective.

Just awesome for those learning to speak Spanish and for those teaching Spanish. ¡Eres un crack! At least that is an expression I’ve heard to mean “You rock!”

This guy is really great. I’m extremely glad to have found him, his podcast, and his system. For my level, it doesn’t get much better than this. It’s obvious he has spent a lot of time perfecting and crafting his style and lessons. Highly recommended.

Oscar teaches Spanish in Spanish. If you have some basic vocabulary, you’re set. He’s speaking European Spanish, which is not what I wanted, but his method is too stellar to pass up. This is as close to a personal tutor as you can get without paying for lessons. He gives a short intro to the topic (in Spanish) and then tells a brief story by saying one sentence and then asking a few questions about what he just said. He then says the correct answer. So you get to formulate answers and absorb speech patterns. I tried a lot of other podcasts and this is the one.

Very useful for becoming more fluent in Spanish. Thank you, Oscar!

I am a teacher and I think Oscar’s teaching method replicates the natural language acquisition process. I get rich exposure to Spanish but I don’t feel like I am working hard. He’s interesting and funny, which keeps me listening, and the more I listen, the more I understand and the more I improve. This has carried into the real world because I can now better speak to and understand the Spanish speaking parents of my students. Oscar is a very charming, creative and talented teacher.

I listen to Oscar every morning while driving to work, which means I get to revisit some episodes. Luckily there’s a treasure trove of great and interesting episodes. Oscar speaks clearly and at just the right speed. I can’t express how this podcast has helped my Listening skills explode over the past year. While vacationing in Mexico last month, I understood everything, even things I didn’t want to hear. All this is thanks to Oscar. Also, I bought his Curso Magico on his website. And it was amazing. I highly recommend his paid products if you are like me and have binged all his podcast episodes.

I found this podcast through LingQ which is another language learning platform and it’s amazing. He speaks clearly and slowly to understand but not too slow. The podcasts are also interesting and fun. I listen to it for 2 hours a day and my Spanish is getting so much better. He also uses a technique called point of view story telling which tells a story in past present and future tenses which changes the grammatical structure so you don’t have to study grammar. Once I’m through all his podcasts I’m going to go purchase his el curso magico which tells the wizard of oz story in different tenses. I believe that will greatly increase my Spanish. I highly recommend this podcast along with his other products.

This podcast is top notch. I just listened to an episode and followed along with the transcription online, which is super effective. The flow and order of the content are really great and easy to understand, especially with the transcription- another part of why this podcast is so amazing. Love 💕

I'm currently in "intermediate purgatory" and have been looking for ways to include more comprehensible input. I found this this podcast about a month ago. But I recently began listening to each episode several times before moving to the next episode -- as Oscar suggests. I have noticed a marked improvement in not only my comprehension, but my facility in speaking with Spanish speakers IRL. I really like that Oscar speaks clearly, but not too-too slowly. Oscar uses the various tenses (as one would in an ordinary conversation), so the language is very natural. The individual podcasts are interesting and keep my attention well. Finally, I really get the sense that Oscar cares and works really hard to create meaningful and useful content.THANK YOU

Seriously this is the best Spanish Learning podcast out there for being ready to reply. It's repetitive for a reason, and that reason helps me learn. It's super quick, so there's always time to look at the transcripts and figure out any words or phrases I don't understand. While I mostly have studied Latin American Spanish, I like to expose myself to many types of Spanish, and I've really found this to be both entertaining and very very helpful for my Spanish. Also, the cultural insights are greatly appreciated.

I find Oscar very easy to understand as he speaks clearly and slowly. Thank you for giving us spoken Spanish so we can reach for fluidity!

I have been study Spanish for years, at home, alone. So I don’t hear it spoken much and I never get to speak it. Listening to these podcasts is helping me so much to understand fluently spoken Spanish, that til now I haven’t heard at all. I found I have a pretty big vocabulary but still struggle with simple sentences spoken fluently. I love these podcast and I’ve only listened to 16 so far. I’m very excited there are so many left for me to practice. Thank you

This podcast is helping me so much. I understand Spanish well but struggle to speak and use the more advanced vocabulary that I know. This is helping me incorporate those more advanced words and phrases when speaking. I also find that I am spending less time thinking about the correct verb tense, it comes more automatically!

I have listened to every episode of this podcast while out on my daily walks. I cannot say enough good things about it. This podcast is aimed at intermediate/advanced Spanish language learners who have a solid command of grammar and vocabulary but who still struggle when it comes to having a real conversation. This describes me perfectly. I have always stumbled when I try to speak even though I know a lot of vocabulary and grammar. My other huge problem has always been understanding spoken Spanish in the real world. I have always had to put so much effort into uncertainly deciphering what I’ve just heard that it makes it really hard for me to respond in a natural, timely manner. I always end up stammering and tripping over my own tongue when I try to respond. The audio in this podcast is superb. The Spanish used in the podcast is reasonably advanced, but it is spoken in a clear, concise manner that allows a learner like me to really understand nearly all of it. I have noticed a huge increase in my own verbal comprehension of others as a result. The spoken word drills serve as an excellent tool for me to exercise and improve my own speaking skills. I’m really getting a lot better. My next step will be to invest in one of Oscar’s advanced classes, likely el Curso Mágico to continue my journey. Thank you so much, Oscar!

I’ve listened to a variety of audiobooks and podcasts and this one is superb. I felt that the podcast “CoffeeBreak Español” was the perfect first step for me as a beginner, and Unlimited Spanish is the greatest next step, attuning my ear to conversational Spanish and inviting question answer dialogue that gives me meaningful practice. Incredible to have resources like this for free at my fingertips. It has turned my time in the car into a classroom experience. Fantástico!

I have had a lot of classes and practice with very basic Spanish but getting it in my head and listening and understanding had been my challenge. I didn’t want a workbook. This podcast has been awesome! I listen when it’s convenient and he speaks clearly and a bit slower but I’m able to understand so much as well as learn about the history or rules or culture. I absolutely LOVE the Unlimited Spanish podcast. My favorite thing about it is that Oscar uses lots of new vocabulary and covers a wide range of topics, even including some things about Spanish culture and practices. As someone who is learning from afar, it’s very helpful to know about the nuances that aren’t taught in a textbook. I also love learning new words that I wouldn’t necessarily learn just looking at lists of vocabulary and being able to integrate those. He also does a great job of showing conjugation changes with his “puntos de vistas.” A great course that I’d recommend to all intermediate level speakers!

I found this podcast today and love it very much. It helps with listening and comprehension. It is very well done and I need nothing else. This is truly the way to learn Spanish.

If you are a high beginner or low intermediate Spanish learner, this is an amazing resource. Óscar speaks clearly in a European Spanish accent at an easy to follow along pace with simple vocabulary that is just challenging enough to help you improve. I highly recommend reading the transcripts he provides for free for every episode as you listen. He covers a wide variety of topics that will build your vocabulary and also uses different techniques like questions and answers and story telling from different points of view so you can hear all the different ways verbs are conjugated. No boring grammar stuff! I started listening to Unlimited Spanish 2 months ago almost everyday and I’m amazed at how much better my listening comprehension has gotten.

I am an upper intermediate learner. This podcast is a great addition to help me build vocabulary, grammar while you listen. He speaks slow enough to understand and uses verbs in many tenses. I use this as part of my "aprendizaje". I listeb every morning while in the gym and at times I use the free PDF's to build my vocabulary. Matt J Charlotte NC

Just got back from a 3-week trip to Ecuador. Before going, I was at a fairly basic conversational level. "Donde esta el baño?" "Quando llegamos?" "Esta cerca de aqui?" I listened to Oscar's podcast during my morning jog for 3 months, supplementing it with a 1955 edition of "Spanish Made Simple Bodega Espanola" from a used book sale. The combination increased my conversational skills tremendously. I was able to translate fairly detailed explanations for my family. Numerous Ecuadorians asked me, "Where did you learn your Spanish?" If you speak _some_ Spanish, Oscar speaks simply and clearly enough for you to understand and absorb the rest. His practical approach focuses on learning Spanish the way you learned your mother tongue, mostly by being exposed to it. Not by trying to memorize rules. His positive, lightly humorous tone makes it enjoyable as well. Give it a try. If you can understand 80-90% of what he's saying, this is a great way to learn the remaining 20-10%.
