Some of my most profound memories of personal encounters with God occurred in my childhood. I spent the summers with my grandparents on their farm in South Georgia and would learn first-hand the meaning of “herd mentality” by feeding cows and the principle of “seed time and harvest” by watching my granddad’s crop come to harvest. But the most powerful and profound of all my experiences on the farm was the day of my first encounter with Jesus!

Stop relying on what others say about Jesus. Find out what he is saying to you. Get to know Jesus personally. “Be still and know that I am God.”
