Today on the Unearthing Project, I sit down with Dr. Alvin Calderon MD, PhD, FACP. Dr. Calderon is core faculty in the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. Seattle was home to one of the first major outbreaks of COVID-19 in the United States, so Dr. Calderon has a unique perspective on the coronavirus' journey through the U.S. In this episode, he talks about working in a hospital with COVID-19, utilizing a growth mindset, and living near CHOP/CHAZ. Finally, he gave his opinions on schools reopening in the fall.
