Accurate thinking is a combination of knowing who you are and what you want.  What you want will evolve over time but it's important to enlist accurate thinking to ensure that you are setting yourself up for success in every element of your life.  Most people drift through life with no idea what they want.  They are trapped by the opinions of others rather than focusing on their own methods of control; one's own self. 

Too long to we waste time thinking and worrying about other people's opinions and judgements of us rather than the judgment of ourselves.  The ladder is all that matters.

Napoleon Hill's conclusions on the six key elements to Accurate Thought:

1. The mind can be controlled, guided and directed to creative and constructive ends. 
2. The mind can be directed to destructive ends, that if may, voluntarily, tear down and destroy, unless it is with plan and deliberation controlled and directed constructively. 
3. The mind has power over every cell in your body, and can be made to cause every cell to do it's intended work perfectly.
4. All achievements of man is the result of thought, the part where his physical being of secondary importance, and in many instances, of no importance whatsoever except as a housing place for the mind. 
5. The greatest inspiration and all achievements, whether in literature, art, finance, industry, commerce, transportation, religion, politics, or scientific discovery, are usually the result of ideas conceived in one man's brain but actually transformed into reality by other men, through the combination of the mind and body. 
6. The majority of all thoughts conceived in men are not accurate, being more in the nature of opinions or snap judgements.
