In the early 1960s Leflore County, Mississippi cut off assistance to everyone in need so that none went to Blacks. However, that also meant nothing went to poor whites in need either. Luvaghn Brown reflects on one such family that came to them that cold winter day and 60 years later, Luvaghn learned something from that event that he never thought of before.
