I am a survivor of different kinds of abuse and that trauma came up for me in PTSD, physical illness, mental illness, etc. and I make it my life’s mission to make sure that shame is not a factor in anyone’s story.I grew up with many different forms of sexual abuse, and was raped by a longtime boyfriend , and was so traumatized that I stayed with him. For about five years I had no recollection of the event and one day it just came back to me, a vivid memory while I was working with domestic survivors of sex trafficking as a career. I had to pull from my inner strength, and even seeing the strength of the women around me, to begin my healing journey.**Refer to the podcast guide for contact/social media information.
