California is not only the nation's most populous state, but it is arguably the most liberal. Democrats have controlled California for years, and as a result its cities are bankrupt, its state treasury is bankrupt and its policies are extreme and crippling for average Americans, yet President Joe Biden holds up California as a model for his vision in transforming the entire nation.

Paul Preston is spearheading a movement to split CA into two states - the urban areas of LA, and San Francisco will make up one state, and New California will comprise the rest. There is no question that New California would be a conservative, "red" state and would change the balance of power in Washington, DC.
