The Town Mile Podcast

Joe Janssen
The Town Mile Podcast was created by Joe Janssen in July of 2017 and is a home for all things ball, rock and roll, small town anecdotes, big city anecdotes, and everything in between. Matt Scioli jumped on board shortly after the inception, and has truly been a perfect addition. The name comes from Hall Of Fame Coach Jeff Vanleur’s ability to get young kids to run hard on paved roads. Most notably Tony Klock: who in 1994 won the gold medal state title in the 300 hurdles, despite not having a track to train on. Track practice consisted of running through town: town miles. This is The Town Mile.

TM Podcast #34: The 1991 Fantasy Football Draft
You asked for it, you got it! We heard your listener requests loud and clear: You wanted us to record a Fantasy Football Draft of 1991 NFL Players. In June. So that's just what we did!  We picked our teams then added up their points that season to see who the winner was. Matt was barely a baby in 1991, but it doesn't matter. This sounds silly, but it was a blast. Smash that play button! Thanks for your support.  --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
