It's true, people pleasers finish last. I also get into how to be present for others, why idolizing someone is a bad choice and some psychological tricks to have in your back pocket that will greatly improve the way others see you.

HOW TO TELL IF YOU'RE THE PROBLEM

SHINE with Terry Jaymes is a live call-in show for the motivated misfit—the people who want more but can’t stand the self-help circus telling them to “manifest harder” or buy another damn workbook.
Terry Jaymes hates the modern self-help industry. The buzzwords. The gurus. The idea that living an inspired life requires a personality transplant, a vision board, or a retreat in the desert. On SHINE, Terry proves something far simpler: clarity isn’t complicated—and inspiration isn’t rare. You’ve just been distracted.
Every episode skips the small talk and goes straight to the question that matters—the one that strips away the noise, exposes who you really are, and reminds you that you’re not broken… you’re just unfocused. With sharp humor, zero fluff, and the instincts of a Hall-of-Fame-bound radio vet and mentor, Terry helps callers reconnect with their identity, their confidence, and their natural momentum.
No gurus. No clichés. No fixing yourself.Just honest conversations, big laughs, and the shockingly simple truth about living inspired.
✨ This is SHINE.
