For our first episode, we provide an introduction to the Center for Indigenous Cancer Research (CICR) at Roswell Park. The show features CICR Director Rodney Haring and Research Assistant Whitney Ann Henry who have both been at Roswell Park for the past five years and laid the groundwork to establish a center for Indigenous cancer research. We talk about what made the center possible, what priorities we’re focused on today, and where we see ourselves headed to ensure Indigenous peoples are respectfully engaged in cancer research and prevention strategies.
