Comfort at Home “Comfort Food for the Soul” series John What is your favorite comfort food? My mom’s sweet corn in the summer (or really anytime), a nice warm piece of Ground Cherry pie, or what my family knows as a pizza burgers. I’m especially missing an SMC “heavenly egg” AKA deviled eggs in our time apart. These are some of my favorite comfort foods-what are yours?These are all things that make me feel good every time I eat them as they remind me of home. Good times together with people I love that give me great comfort. Yet I know, with the experience of the last few months-separation is inevitable-even from those we love and get comfort from.If this virus has taught us anything-and I believe it’s taught us a lot of things-it is that we need to find comfort beyond this world.
