The mission of The T-Mac Impact Show is to "Share impactful stories to inspire growth. IMPACT is also an acronym for I-Innovative M-Mindset P-Philanthropic A-Action Taker C-Community Oriented T-Teamwork. Individuals who embody one of these traits, tend to embody several others. Which of course leads to them making a positive impact in the world and the people around them. The concept of this podcast is helping Taylor (a.k.a T-Mac) fulfill his personal life mission which is "To encourage and inspire other's to grow towards the potential that God put within them". In eP. 01 Taylor breaks down in more depth how he got the idea, and where he see's the podcast going in the future. Ep.08 Phil Kornachuk - Leadership, Special Operations & Family
Episode Summary:At 17 years old when he dropped out of high school, you maybe wouldn't have guessed that in the future that Phil Kornachuk would be world class at teaching leadership! Out of high school, Phil joined the Canadian Army, then he joined the U.S. Army and became an officer, then a Ranger, then a Green Beret, and then another classified special operations group. After 12 deployments, some of his accolades are Silver Star(3rd highest award for Valor in combat), Army Commendation Medal with "V" for valor under fire, Bronze Star x5, Meritorious Service Medal, Ranger School, Special Forces School, and more... Not only is that impressive, but he also has a large family of 7 kids, and his wife Tana! He doesn't credit much of his leadership skills to himself, but rather to the people who he had around him that saw potential in him and helped him forge that into fruition. Now that he is retired from the military he runs a company called StoneWater training where they partner with values based leaders to enhance their impact. Ep.04 Accidental Fitness Influencer : Brandon Clark
How do you "accidentally" become a fitness influencer? Brandon Clark is a 22 year old who fell in love with weight lifting when he was 14 in high school. He learned through trial and error, and eventually figured out how to naturally build and sculpt a physique that most only dream of. Just before the world went into lockdown in 2020, Brandon had bought gym equipment to have in his garage at home. The timing was perfect for him to get that, as soon enough the gyms were closed. He saw his sister's using an app call "Tik-Tok" and figured he would check it out. Bret Rasmussen is a farmer from southern Idaho. In 1968, a snowmobile could hardly make it across a field. Fast forward to today, and snowmobiles can access virtually any terrain in the backcountry no matter the slope, or snow conditions. Bret played a large part in the progression of the sport in both the mechanical aspect, as well as the riding technique's that are used today in snowmobile riding.
