In David Koresh: The Sinful Messiah part 2 we continue to examine the cult of The Branch Davidians. It is a fascinating horror story surrounding a charismatic, young preacher who believed himself to be the linchpin to the apocalypse–and the 80 cult members who followed him to their violent deaths/suicides. The Synthesizers take an in depth look at  how the cult leader recruited, indoctrinated, and controlled the minds  of its devoted (Christian) members–as well as the government's response and role in the catastrophic outcome. Throughout the conversation we  examine our own fanatical Christian upbringings in the Bible Belt and the churches, camps, and schools we attended that used cult practices to indoctrinate us into the faith.
