As you may or may not know, the entire world is currently under siege by a microscopic enemy, called the novel coronavirus, aka COVID-19.  Virtually the entire world has been under quarantine and self-isolation to help do their part in saving the human species from extinction. It’s a tough time. For all of us. A lot of people are suffering and that pain takes a collective toll on the human race more than you’d think. But that being said, something more dangerous has reared its ugly head and that is racism, stereotyping, as well as systematic discrimination. With that social caveat in mind, the current world’s quarantine state has given us all a chance to self-introspect in this hectic time. And as you may or may not know, self-reflection and existential thought is my middle name so I thought I’d share my two cents in this episode. So, here’s some food for thought on something very important in this weird time in history and that is, empathy. So maybe settle down and get some tea and let’s start with a story to highlight EMPATHY!
