What does it mean to be black? A snapshot from 2009 Back in October 2009 there was a protest outside BBC Television Centre in White City, West London and the reason for it was because at the time the openly racist Nick Griffin (leader of the BNP) was going to get a national platform to air his racist and xenophobic views, he was going to appear on BBCs political programme, Question Time. SSLJA and Gavin 'Da Gman Henry went down with a camera and a microphone and produced the YouTube video; Straight Shootin' LJA at the Anti-BNP protest (available here - https://youtu.be/giuBT2twnDc ). but what you're about to see and/or hear is previously unreleased material we captured that night 11 years ago about what it meant to be black in October 2009.
