The Washington Mystics get the win against the Los Angeles Sparks 70-80. Rebounding was the story for the Mystics as they dominated, grabbing 43 to LA’s 27. Cotie McMahon had a career-high nine boards. Five players grabbed at least five rebounds. This is Washington’s 31st time overpowering an opponent on the glass this season. This count is the third highest in WNBA history (2025 Atlanta Dream: 33, 2023 New York Liberty: 32). Additionally, this was the Mystics’ 14th time registering a +10 rebound differential, tied for the fourth-highest single season mark in WNBA history (2022 Connecticut Sun: 17, 2023 Dallas Wings: 16, 2005 Dallas: 15, 2007 Dallas: 14, 2002 Los Angeles: 14).
