Taking a break from regularly scheduled content to overload the day with gratitude for one of my first Executive Directors, Ralph E. Capps. I can say with certainty that I would not have the career I have, the courage to pursue new opportunities, or one of my favorite people in the world - Tia McLaurin - if it weren’t for Ralph. I’m so grateful for the years I worked at the Boys & Girls Clubs and want to share some of my treasured “Ralphisms” in honor of his life, 50+ years of leadership of the Boys & Girls Clubs, and opportunities he created for his staff and youth alike.
