What do we do when things fall apart? The way we answer this question shows us the truth of who we are. We all look great when things are comfortable. It’s in the times of challenge, when the building is burning down around us, when all that we’ve held onto dissolves in our arms, that our true allegiance, our true character, our true identity get revealed.
We are crowd-conditioned people: the more crowds flock to something, the more inclined we are to think that thing is worth flocking to. Yet so often this crowd-conditioned instinct leads us to unhealth. Listen as Pastor Clint explores the story of the Rechabites in Jeremiah 35, and how we can learn from them in our crowd-conditioned world by implementing two practices: listening to the right voice and living with holistic integrity.
