We live as people of hope in a world dying without it. The more we understand the power of the hope that lives within us the more urgency we have to be a point of contact between Jesus and the broken world around us. Peter wrote us a letter explaining that we are on a Mission of Hope (1) As we love and are loved; (2) As God’s own people; (3) In whatever setting we find ourselves; (4) When we suffer; (5) Because we live differently; (6) As agents of God’s grace; (7) In humility; (8) To the very end. This is life-changing not merely for us, but for those around us.This week, Clint Leavitt will remind us the otherworldly Gospel power of humility, and how giving our lives up to Christ gives us transformative and eternal value.
