Kat’s Cookie Kit is founded by teen entrepreneur and high school student Katherine Jester in Manhattan Beach, California. Her mission is to share the delicious taste of her family recipes and the joy of baking with everyone through the sophisticated, quality Cookie Kit she created with the help of Manhattan Beach’s Young Entrepreneurs’ Academy. A portion of business profits is donated to charitable organizations that support women’s empowerment. Kat's Cookie Kit is currently available for purchase on-line and in-person at GROW The Produce Shop Rachel Thomas moved to Southern California in 1993 to begin her teaching career. She has since taught multiple subjects to multiple grade levels. She has been in the Manhattan Beach Unified School District since 2000 and currently is an English Teacher at the MB Middle School. She has been the instructor for the YEA program since it came to Manhattan Beach in 2015.
