"Sheldon got his start in church plays, and worked his way up to school, community, semi-professional, and professional theatre and independent film. Originally from Brampton, and a Merited graduate of Mayfield Secondary School's Drama Regional Arts Program, he is now based out of Ottawa, where he is in his fourth and final year of the Bachelor of Public Affairs and Policy Management program at Carleton University's Arthur Kroeger College. However, his main focus on legal and political activism is still tempered with active participation in the Ottawa theatre scene, including two Ottawa Fringe Festivals. He has taken part in over 30 theatrical and film productions as an actor, singer, director, writer, dramaturg, and stage manager, including writing and directing the 9-award-winning Sears Ontario Drama Festival show "The Red Road," about Canada's Indian residential school system. Selected acting credits include the titular characters in Sock 'n' Buskin Theatre Company's acclaimed productions of "Macbeth" and "The Elephant Man," and the Beast the in 2018 Ottawa Fringe fan-favourite "The Beast's Library" by Sad Ibsen Theatre. He also directed a well-received stage adaptation of Ray Bradbury's classic tale "Fahrenheit 451," inspired by Greek theatre and philosophy, and will be playing the much-coveted role of Prior Walter in Sock 'n' Buskin Theatre Company's upcoming production of "Angels in America," running on January 17th, 18th, 24th, and 25th at Glebe-St. James United Church in Ottawa."
