Just over 400 years ago, 102 Pilgrims left England to set up a thriving colony in the new world. What followed was several months of disease, starvation, and death. They made mistakes similar to those of the Jamestown settlers who, in 1609-1610, had barely survived the “Starving Time.” This is a tale of hunger, fear, violence, disenfranchisement, and cannibalism.
