Sara Bir is a chef and writer. She's the author of three cookbooks, including the IACP award-winning The Fruit Forager's Companion, and is an editor with the website Simply Recipes. She lives in Marietta, Ohio and spends her spare time scrounging in the woods for wild edibles.
