Over the past couple of years, she and a few others found a way to use this pastime to help others by creating “mission quilts,” for distribution by Lutheran World Relief (LWR), that go to those in need around the world. Our quilting group meets every other Tuesday from 9 AM-2 PM at the church from January to September.
