This episode is a tribute to the highly respected Western Nightingale, a Nigerian pioneer traditional/juju musician. He was active from as early as the late 1940s and played at the upper echelon of Nigerian music in that era. Also, we consider a remake of one of Nightingale's melodies by Tillaman in 2014.
