I believe social media was created to innocently virtually connect friends and family members. However, once the like, love, cry, angry and pick me options arrived on the various social platforms innocence was no longer "marketable or progressive." Now people can't go a day without opening a social media app and checking to see if they have comments, new followers etc. I don't think managing, creating and developing a business or following on social media is wrong. However, when creators start to seek profit over genuinely connecting with people issues of self worth and mental health are right around the corner. Let us live to be a light my friends. Listen in!
