In this week's edition of The Roar AFL Podcast, Ryan and Josh from theroar.com.au run their rulers over the round just gone, cooling off some of the scorching hot takes that have been flying around in the process. They discuss the surprising disappointment of a Friday night game without Carlton's involvement, whether the Saturday Showdown told us more about the Crows or Power, and ponder just how terrible the West Coast Eagles are when it comes to Hawthorn and the MCG.

Neither Cam or Jay were available to give their two minute take of the weekend's action - we haven't heard from them since Friday night - so Ryan leads things off with a quick word on the difference between process and outcome. In other words, scoring might have fallen a touch this round, but the standard of football was, for the most part, excellent.
