Today’s service finds us back in the lectionary after a number of weeks away.  We’ve got some great passages!  The readings, read by Lector Andre Gloeckner, are 2nd Samuel 

-5, 12b-19 and Mark 6:14-29.  The sermon is without title for a change, but the RedHeaded Preacher, Rev. Richard Lanford, speaks about some things to take away from Herod Agrippa’s relationship with imprisoned John the Baptist, and his having him beheaded at the behest of his daughter.
