The sermon for May 9, 2021, Mother’s Day, is called “A Mother’s Prayers, A Church that Shares,” preached by our pastor the Rev. Richard Lanford. Preaching out of two of the three passages, it is about the many ways God has through congregations to be resources to moms, including single mothers, especially in the essential arena of spiritual development. It is a call to both moms and churches to be aware of each other and encounter each other in ministry.
