Yes folks, a double shot! For the first time in TRE history, two albums, same band. What better way to kick off Season 2 than with a couple of Tragically Hip beauties! In 1992 the band rose from bar band status to their rock and roll high water mark with  ”Fully Completely”. They  worked together better than ever in this album clinic of musical craftsmanship permanently establishing their place in the hearts and minds of Canadians……and plenty of fans south of the border. While 10 years later, in 2002 “In Violet Light” exhibits what brilliance can come from a solid maturing band who, ignoring critics, continues to use their own unique formula for albums, with a collection of songs that love being spun. The cohesion of both the band and the album take us on a confident journey of sonic experimentation, and reflective and poetic writing. A couple of Balls Falls Session IPAs from the Bench Brewing Company are just the right companion to great music. Bottoms up!
