Evolving from previous technical and progressive brilliance on albums like ”Hemispheres”, which most critics couldn’t understand, the band changes gears a little. Regarded by many fans as Rush’s perfect album, it presents itself a little more mainstream friendly, but make no mistake, this album encompasses Rush’s usual sonic onslaught of crippling riffs and complex time signatures mixed with fantastic lyrics. Rock on! Bob Dylan released what has been coined his ”comeback album” in 1975 and “Blood on the Tracks” is proof that he never really left. Transforming the cultural perception of Dylan’s legitimacy, the album is filled with songs and stories of love, heartache, hardship and even crime. Proving yet again to everyone that Bob Dylan is the paragon of self-invention.
